Job Title:              Production Officer

Job location :      Tema, Ghana

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Objective:

• To produce automobile in Ghana in accordance with the Ghana Auto Policy (SKD) and supply Ghanaian produced automobile to the Ghanaian market.

Descriptions:

As a Production Officer, you will

• Supervise all automobile production operations.
• Prepare production plans.
• Prepare inventory and stock control of automobile parts and oils for vehicle production.
• Coordinate factory floor workers’ schedule
• Supervise and manage production performance, prepare daily production reports, and register vehicle data in the DB.
• Liaise with suppliers (overseas plants) to correct all defective vehicles by arranging and correcting alternative parts.
• Receive and respond to customer complaints on market quality of vehicles produced in the factory and to respond to marketing activities.
• Maintain and manage production facilities.
• Prepare company quality control reports and maintain manuals.
• Train factory floor workers.
• Control and supervise the work environment and safety.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE 

As a Production Officer, you must have;

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or any other Professional qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a similar role or similar industry.

REQUIREMENTS

As a Production Officer, you are expected to have

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, multilingual will be an advantage.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Able to drive a car well (have a driver’s license)
• Organizational skills.
• Team oriented and ability to work independently.
• Result oriented.
• Attention to details and active listener.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• A good understanding of the automobile industry globally and in Ghana will be a plus.

NB: preferably a person living in Tema or its environs.
