El registro de la empresa es el primer paso formal para crear una empresa en Ghana. Una vez constituida la empresa, todas las empresas deben presentar sus declaraciones anuales y también pueden presentar otros formularios y resoluciones legales según corresponda, a medida que la empresa crece y se producen cambios. El Departamento del Registro General de Ghana (RGD) ofrece diversos servicios, entre los que se incluyen el registro de empresas, la certificación de matrimonios, las marcas registradas, las patentes y la administración de testamentos, entre otros.
